What is the difference between Foreverseal® Aqua and general-purpose PTFE tape?
Foreverseal® Aqua is specifically positioned for water-system thread sealing, with controlled product specifications and potable-water compliance options. General-purpose PTFE tapes may vary in density, thickness, material quality, and certification.
How should Foreverseal® Aqua PTFE tape be applied?
Apply the tape to clean male threads in the tightening direction, starting slightly back from the end of the fitting. Maintain light tension and overlap the tape evenly before assembling and tightening the connection.
What pipe materials are compatible with Foreverseal® Aqua?
Foreverseal® Aqua can be used on compatible threaded connections made from common piping materials such as brass, copper, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and selected plastic fittings. Always follow the fitting manufacturer's installation requirements.
