Is testing required after installation?

Yes. Pressure or leak testing is strongly recommended, especially for gas and critical systems.

Can it be used immediately after installation?

Yes. No curing time is required.

Is additional sealant required?

No. PTFE tape is a standalone mechanical sealing material.

How many wraps are typically required?

Usually 3–8 wraps depending on pipe size, tape density, and application conditions.

What are the installation precautions?

Threads must be clean. Wrap in the tightening direction starting from the second thread with consistent tension.

Do you provide installation guidance?

Yes. Installation guides, videos, and application instructions are available.

Can PTFE tape be reused?

No. It is recommended to replace the tape after disassembly to ensure sealing reliability.

What should I do if leakage occurs?

Check product selection, wrapping method, and thread condition. Reinstallation or replacement may be required.

Does the tape require regular replacement?

Generally no, unless the threaded connection is disassembled and reinstalled.

What is the product shelf life?

The plastic spool has a shelf life of approximately one year. The PTFE tape itself has no expiration date under proper storage conditions.

What payment terms do you accept?

We accept T/T (bank transfer) and sight L/C.

What is your PTFE packaging standard?

Standard packaging is 10 rolls per blister pack, with customized inner boxes and export cartons depending on product size.
